The Second Mud Truck we've built here at Just Chevy Trucks.com started life off as a 1986 K20 "Street" truck with 44" Swampers on it. From there it has evolved into what we called "A Beast". A S10 body with tractor tires. The only thing left in this truck from that 1986 is the frame! Below are several pictures of the change over 3 years. In the Winter of '09 -'10 we sold the truck and it was repainted "Slime Green" and renamed "Frankenstein". We are going to go with the name for now, until the truck is finished... whatever that means in Mud Truck terms. As we all know to stay competitive you MUST keep evolving & changing for the better. New for 2011... It's going to be a "Jeep Thing". The S10 Body will be going and a Jeep Wrangler body on an Escalade frame will be Coming. We'll post pictures below as we build it!

| This was what we started with |
| First thing to change... the engine to a TPI 400 |
| Second was the Tires to 16.9 X 24 R1's |
| Then the "Heavy Chevy" Body had to go! |
When it was sold the engine was a stock Vortec 454 with a Carburetor on it. This engine expired at the Spring 2010 Vermonster... R.I.P.

| What comes next is this trucks latest incarnation. In the picture to the right it looks like a "Plucked Chicken"!

The Pit Viper will be getting a new heart soon... an LSX 454 engine! Mike St. George (Engine builder to the Stars) has started working with the GM LSX Tall Deck block to make a 454 LS Small Block engine. We'll post pictures as they come in!
